Sarasota, FL - This month's meeting of the Professional Videographers Network of Southern California (PVN) featured a special marketing presentation by WEVA Public Relations chairperson Kris Malandruccolo, a WEVA Wedding & Event Videography Hall of Fame inductee and owner of Elegant Videos by Kris (Chicago, IL).
In presenting "The Elegant Queen’s Rules of Marketing" Kris shared a number of proven tools and techniques wedding videographers can utilize immediately to get more business -- and more revenue – including blogging tips, portable media marketing techniques, ways to upgrade your promotional materials, and more. "In today’s economy, where marketing is more important than ever,” said Kris, "it’s vital for videographers to be armed with the best, most current marketing tools possible, and WEVA is committed to providing the education necessary to make these new tools and techniques work for you in your business."
PVN president Pete Hasas relates, "We are very fortunate to have had Kris speak at our local association. Perhaps you have read her many published articles, or heard her speak at Wedding & Event Video Expo or on the WEVA "Power of Video" tours that have been presented around the world. She is recognized as one of the most influential videographers working in the industry, and those in attendance were treated to invaluable information they can use today."
Also at the PVN meeting, held November 11 in Orange County, was Terry Syndergaard of Orange County Multimedia Association (OCMMA.org) who demonstrated some low-cost tricks and plug-ins for After-Effects, including how to make your bride's skin glow with just a little "digital wrinkle cream.”
