This section is dedicated to those individuals that have been inducted into the WEVA Wedding & Event Videographers Hall of Fame, been awarded the Walter Bennett Service to Industry Award, the Bob LeBar Vision Award, the 911 Community Service Award, the WEVA Ambassador Award, the WEVA Chairmans Award and those individuals that have successfully passed the WEVA Merited Professional Videographer (MPV) Exam.

Merited Professional Videographer (MPV)

The WEVA International Merited Professional Videographer (MPV) program is a way to recognize the professional wedding and event videographer, who is uniquely dedicated to his or her craft, and to the success of a vital and growing creative service industry.

WEVA Wedding & Event Videographers Hall of Fame

Inductees into the WEVA Wedding & Event Videography Hall of Fame are long standing WEVA members with many years experience in the wedding and event video industry, whose contributions over the years have helped the industry to grow.

Walter Bennett Service to Industry Award

Introduced in 1999, the Walter Bennett Service to Industry Award honors a WEVA member who, through donation of time, service to fellow videographers by teaching or writing, and by service in a local association and on a national level, strives for exemplary professionalism that lights a pathway for other videographers to follow.

Bob LeBar Vision Award

Introduced in 2000, the Bob Le Bar Vision Award honors the WEVA member who has made innovative contributions to the development of the professional event video community. These award recipients have advanced unique ideas and invoked a keen entrepreneurial spirit, together with a strong sense of professional pride, "raising the bar" for everyone.

911 Community Service Award

Established in 2003 the 911 Community Service Award was named to remember the 911 Tragedy but also because 911 is a Call for Help. These WEVA members have responded to a call for help from their Community using their professional skills as Wedding and Event Videographers as part of the solution/resolution.

WEVA Ambassador Award

Introduced in 2004, the Ambassador Award is given to a WEVA member to honor their energy, enthusiasm and the ability to inspire other WEVA members.

In recognition and grateful appreciation of outstanding dedication, commitment and accomplishments in service to the membership of the Wedding & Event Videographers Association International and to the advancement of the WEVA International mission.
