Attend WEVA Pre-EXPO Power Sessions to Increase Creativity & Profits

New WEVA EXPO 2008 Pre-Convention Power Sessions for wedding and event videographers will be held Monday afternoon August 11, 2008 and end before the EXPO Opening Night Gala unfolds at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes Orlando.

Seating for each of the Pre-Convention Power Sessions (at the JW Marriott) and Special Pre-Convention Events (below) is limited. Advance registration is required. Seating is reserved on a first-come basis only. Registration will open shortly online at www.weva.com. Special Sessions and Events presented before WEVA EXPO 2008 officially opens (at 5:45pm August 11) are optional and require a separate fee. To be sure of getting seats, register early.

Introducing another "industry-first" – WEVA International has partnered with Universal Studios Florida Production Group for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of the Universal Studios Production Facilities custom-created for WEVA professionals. The largest working motion picture and television studio outside of Hollywood, Universal Studios Florida (10 minutes from Grande Lakes) boasts 9 state-of-the-art soundstages, multiple broadcast studios, and more than 100 backlot sets. Numerous feature films (including The Waterboy, Matinee, and Parenthood) have been shot on the studio backlot. Home to cable network’s Nickelodeon, Universal Studios Florida has hosted TV programs as diverse as The Ellen Degeneres Show; The Food Network's Emeril, Live!; The Steve Harvey Show; America's Most Wanted; Fear Factor; BattleBotsIQ and TNA (Total Nonstop Action). WEVA Golf Classic

The WEVA Golf Classic returns this year hosted by The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club at Grande Lakes Orlando. The on-property Greg Norman designed course offers a challenge to golfers of all skills. Players will enjoy a worry-free morning enhanced by the services of The Ritz-Carlton Caddie Concierge who accompanies each group to offer tips for playing the course, locate golf balls, give accurate yardages, repair ball marks, clean clubs and rake bunkers. Of course if you are always in the fairway and on the green, then your caddie will have an easier time.
