Matrox Axio is designed to get the best from the Adobe Production Studio software. Matrox says Axio makes Premiere Pro the foremost realtime HD and SD editor for post-production environments, “going far beyond the capabilities of systems that combine Premiere Pro with a simple I/O card.”
Axio features no-render HD and SD finishing in compressed and uncompressed formats, realtime color correction tools, realtime effects, and a whole host of analog and digital audio and video inputs and outputs. The system supports Adobe Dynamic Link and provides WYSIWYG video output support for After Effects and Photoshop CS2, as well as other popular animation and compositing packages.
