NAB News Minute: Apple's New Dynamic RT for FCP5
May 17, 2005
Sarasota, FL - At NAB, Apple demonstrated how new Dynamic RT in Final Cut Pro 5 allows users to save time during real-time effects processing on everything from DV to fully uncompressed HD. Improving upon FCP's RT Extreme, Dynamic RT adjusts image quality and frame rate on-the-fly for optimal playback and scales performance as CPU power increases.
Users can define Dynamic RT preferences for total control. This enables an editor to view even multi-layered uncompressed HD video in real time. The days of having to render a clip or a transition to see how it looks only to make changes and re-render are a thing of the past.
