ImageSpan Shoots Providing Weekday Jobs for WEVA Members
February 05, 2007
Sarasota, FL - WEVA International members continue to benefit from initial shooting assignments arranged through the new and revolutionary, CurbStream system from ImageSpan, the worldwide automated rights management company.
WEVA videographers are currently completing weekday shoots for three separate video projects for CurbStream clients. Here is an update on the new programs.
Agency Shoots
WEVA videographers, such as Scot Sheely in South Carolina (pictured here shooting ImageSpan job), have recently completed auto dealer shoots for ImageSpan's "CurbStream" agency clients. These initial weekday shoots, like the one Sheely completed, were all packaged specifically for each auto group and uploaded to agency servers. More weekday shoots from CurbStream agency job orders are anticipated for Q1 and Q2 of 2007.
ImageSpan’s “Longtail” Program
Through ImageSpan, WEVA members have been given the assignment of shooting various “situation video clips” for use in a “Video Vault” accessible to major agencies and clients. These clips run the gambit of “inside a beauty parlor” to “beautiful outdoor scenery and activities.”
WEVA members, including Dave Williams in Philadelphia, PA, for example, have all completed these assignments and uploaded the content to ImageSpan servers quickly and easily. The success of this innovative program is already spurring development of more assignments for members nationwide.
Shoots for New Ad-Builder Programs
Through ImageSpan, other WEVA videographers like Andrew King in southeast Florida have been working closely with marketing content providers in the real estate industry to provide video content for brand new, IT-based “ad-builder” systems around the country. The initial shoots have been successfully completed and the content successfully uploaded through the ImageSpan platform in a quick and easy manner. "CurbStream clients have been blown away with the new IT system’s capabilities and the video produced and uploaded by WEVA members," said WEVA's Director of Association Communications Dan Argenas.
Argenas added, "With the amount of time and efforts going into the continuous development of what is a truly historic IT/media innovation, along with the development of WEVA’s many other original industry initiatives, including the first-ever "Engagements On Ice" videos shot by WEVA members for display on Brides.com, updates on all projects are not issued as often as we would like -- but we’re working on that, too! And, we will continue to keep WEVA members informed with updates posted on the WEVA News section at WEVA.com and through email bulletins to members."
