ImageSpan's 'CurbStream' Begins Video Shoots With WEVA Nationwide
January 07, 2007
Sarasota, FL - Advancement of ImageSpan’s online video job program “CurbStream,” the new IT-generated source of weekday shoots for WEVA members, now includes involvement with two major projects for the company’s Longtail Video Content & Archive delivery system, and Ad Agency PNC ad building programs, reports Dan Argenas Director of Association Communications for Wedding & Event Videographers Association International (WEVA).
ImageSpan, the automated digital rights management company, and WEVA have been working with the world’s largest online content user groups to globally create the first on-demand video content and archive delivery system.
“This Longtail System will exclusively use WEVA members to shoot video clips of commercial subject matter for uploading through the CurbStream platform where the clips will be processed for archiving and used by contracted online content providers.
“ImageSpan is already working with WEVA members nationwide to shoot a variety of subject content,” Argenas said. “CurbStream clients have the ability to use currently archived subject clips, or the option of creating their own video content. And, given the global location of WEVA members, clients can also opt to create video content based on specific geographic locations.”
By the end of January 2007, Argenas added, the first wave of the CurbStream Longtail content will have been completed by WEVA members from around the country. The “Advertising Agency Pick and Click” (PNC) program developed by ImageSpan allows agencies and their clients to hire WEVA members nationally and internationally to shoot video footage intended for use in commercial productions, and for online streaming video promotions.
CurbStream is already targeted by leading agencies for use in shooting video clips at auto dealerships in three parts of the country, which will provide the initial templates for multiple production packages offering exterior, interior, and personnel content clips. “The video packages will determine the direction for agency groups when it comes to making choices for promotional packages in Q1 of 2007,” Argenas relates. “New PNC shoots will be assigned and completed by January 31. Throughout the month, the CurbStream development team will be fine-tuning the packages from which national and regional clients will select their promotional video clips.”
