Real Proposals: Brides.com & WEVA Announce 'Engagements On Ice'

New York, NY - Members of Wedding & Event Videographers Association International (WEVA) have completed shooting and editing for “Engagements on Ice” with Brides.com as part of a brand new co-promotion for the winter season. Arranged by Brides.com and WEVA, the emotional and heart-tugging videos of each marriage proposal made on the spectacular Ice Rink at Rockefeller Center in New York City are streaming now on Brides.com (click here to watch).

The all-new “Engagements On Ice” series sets the scene for a unique and perfect proposal. The couple find themselves alone on the ice at Rockefeller Center as their song begins to play. The groom-to-be, who has pre-planned the event and is secretly “miked” by a WEVA videographer, will propose; and once she says “yes,” the Ice Rink staff delivers a beautiful bouquet to the new fiancée. To complete the experience, the two enjoy a champagne toast at rink-side restaurant Rock Center Café before getting an exclusive gift bag from Brides.com
Each engagement video is streamed on the Planning>Engagement section of Brides.Com where visitors can stop by to vote for their favorite "Engagements On Ice" couple, and even submit their own proposal stories. Prizes will be awarded to the favorite "Engagements On Ice" couple as well as for the best submitted story.
“Engagements On Ice” videos are being promoted throughout Brides.com, and can be viewed and enjoyed by millions of website visitors. Brides.com will be promoting “Engagements on Ice” for seven months in the special showcase of the Engagements area in the Planning section of Brides.com, and by Email newsletters, stand-alone emails to thousands of Brides.com readers, and through other promotional avenues.
