Sarasota, FL - New WEVA Latino sessions developed for WEVA EXPO 2008 created greater opportunities for more videographers to participate in this year’s annual convention, including an increasing number of professional videographers from Mexico and Central America.
During the EXPO, longtime WEVA member and WEVA EXPO 2008 featured speaker Carlos Ornelas, owner of Fantasy Weddings (CA), described the purpose of WEVA Latino Internacional for this WEVA NEWS MINUTE produced by Bruce Himmelblau and Sue Lawson (in Spanish & English) with primary video coverage by Shawn Lam. The formation of WEVA Latino Internacional emerged from WEVA’s worldwide educational initiative that began more than two years ago. In that time, WEVA has been working with PUNTO, one of the largest organizations serving Hispanic videographers and photographers in the U.S., and with AMPESAV A.C. the largest association of professional videographers in Mexico, to further expand the Latino-focused branch of WEVA International.
