Available now and weighing only 1.1 lbs., this 1/4" 3-CCD 16:9 (1080i) model records onto an SDHC memory card and comes with an HDMI Interface and 40GB SD Store Drive. The HSC1U’s low-light sensitivity is rated as “under 6 lux.” It's 12x Leica Dicomar Lens System has an Optical Image Stabilizer for shooting both video and stills. Also included is a 3-inch widescreen (16:9) LCD monitor and 5.1 surround sound five-microphone system. The camcorder can capture 2.1 megapixel 16:9 still pictures even during video recording.
The AG-HSC1U comes standard with a portable 40GB media storage unit for off-loading your footage from the 4GB SDHC memory card. The 40GB hard disk drive can hold the contents of ten 4GB SDHC memory cards and has a built-in rechargeable battery.
