NAB News Minute: Varizoom's FlowPod Stabilizer
May 08, 2005
Sarasota, FL - In this WEVA NAB News Minute video, Varizoom inventor Tom McKay demonstrates the versatility of the Varizoom FlowPod camcorder stabilizer using a Sony MiniDV cam. The FlowPod is designed for use with camcorders weighing 1-9 pounds.
Showing the unit’s application for wedding and event work, McKay notes the FlowPod (about $449) is both a hand-held stabilizer and a monopod in an all-in-one collapsible unit. See the FlowPod's telescoping abilities (and more) in action in this video shot at the NAB 2005 trade show. Click Here. (Allow for QuickTime download.)
