Enter Your Best Productions in the WEVA 15th Annual Creative Excellence Awards Competition!

Sarasota, FL - WEVA International has officially opened the 15th Annual Creative Excellence Awards Competition by announcing the “Call for Entries” and posting the 2005 WEVA CEA Rules & Regulations and 2005 Entry Form at www.weva.com (click on the image of 2005 entry form at right).  This year there are 14 separate wedding and event production categories, and professional videographers may enter as many categories as they choose.
In addition to wedding videos, this year’s categories cover many types of social events, as well as corporate events, including Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, class reunions, dance recitals, theatrical productions, cheerleading competitions, funeral services, anniversaries, christenings, charity events, and more.
WEVA International’s Creative Excellence Awards, which have honored outstanding production achievement for the past 14 years, are recognized as the most prestigious awards in professional wedding and event videography. "Every year the WEVA CEA competition entries ‘raise the bar’ of video creativity in our industry and inspire new approaches, new applications, and new concepts,” said WEVA International Chairman Roy Chapman.
Professional videographers worldwide are invited to enter their finest productions into the 2005 competition. Last year, over 50 WEVA Creative Excellence Awards, including the annual WEVA Best of Category Gold, Sliver, Bronze, and Finalist Awards were presented to professional wedding and event videographers nationally and internationally. Chapman noted many were first-time recipients. “It was exciting to see such diversity among the winning entries, and to see more international winners than ever before,” he related. The WEVA 2005 Creative Excellence Award winners will be officially announced (and screened) at the WEVA 15th Annual Wedding & Event Video Expo during the

A milestone event for professional wedding and event videographers, and the industry at large, WEVA EXPO 2005 will be held at the world-renown Las Vegas Hilton (www.lvhilton.com). Wedding & Event Videography magazine, the official publication for WEVA International members.Additionally, the winning entries will be inducted into the WEVA International Wedding & Event Videography Hall of Fame. The time to enter is now!
