Pioneer Unveils Multi Drive DVD Video Recorder

Las Vegas, NV - Pioneer Electronics announced its new PRV-LX1 DVD-Video recorder at NAB.
The stand-alone unit is equipped with recordable DVD drive, compatible with DVD-R and DVD-RW formats. A second drive can be installed in the unit. A 120 GB hard drive is built-in, as is an array of input/output connections, including DV, composite, component and S-video. Two balanced and two unbalanced audio connections, and a coax digital audio output, are included.
The PRV-LX1 is expected to ship in June 2003, at a suggested list price of $3,995. A second drive is available for an additional $495.
