Anchor Digital Announces Customized DVD Introductions
April 04, 2003
Brooklyn, NY - Anchor Digital now offers a customized DVD Introduction to all new customers. A DVD Introduction is a short segment of video, usually 5-8 seconds in length, which identifies and credits the videography business that covered the event. An appropriate segment of footage to be used as the DVD Introduction is the videography business's name and/or logo with music accompaniment in the background. The customized DVD Introduction is played immediately after inserting the DVD into the DVD player, affording the viewer the beginning of the interactive experience. The customized DVD Introductions will be integrated into all of Anchor Digital's products.
A customized DVD Introduction is just one part of the Interactive DVD. Anchor Digital defines the new "Interactive DVD" category as DVD products with the following components:
· DVD Introductions
· Bonus Features
· Motion Menus
"As technology evolves and consumer demand increases for interactivity, there is a new market for the Interactive DVD," said Anchor Digital's Asaf Palgi. "The Interactive DVD exploits the full capabilities of the DVD medium while meeting consumer demand."
Anchor Digital is positioning itself as the leader in Interactive DVD production for event videography businesses. The company's products focus on delivering an interactive experience to the end consumer while providing an effective business solution to the event videography market. As part of the company's marketing activities for this year, Anchor Digital will be exhibiting at the 13th Annual WEVA EXPO 2003 in Las Vegas (August 25-28).
