ATI's All-In-Wonder 9000 Pro Now Available

Markham, ON - ATI Technologies Inc.’s new multimedia video card, with intelligent TV-on-the-PC PVR (personal video recording) and video editing functionality, is now available in North America.
ALL-IN-WONDER 9000 PRO provides support for Microsoft DirectX 8.1, with high quality video editing, enhanced TV viewing and 3D games graphics performance, free interactive TV program guide and record and timeshift capabilities, the manufacturer announced.
It offers the following features:
- Analog video capture and editing in MPEG-2 format at up to 720x480 @ 30 fps
NTSC and 720x576 @ 25 fps PAL/SECAM;
- Support for DirectX 8.1 pixel shaders and OpenGL;
- ATI's MULTIMEDIA CENTER 8.1 offers a full range of critically-acclaimed
multimedia functions including:
- Enhanced TV-ON-DEMAND PVR for instant replays, pausing live TV or
recording live broadcasts for later viewing;
- mulTView - Enables dual TV tuner capabilities such as Picture-in-Picture when combined with ATI-TV WONDER or TV WONDER VE;
- VIDEOSOAP - Delivers advanced filtering to reduce noise, improve
sharpness and soften focus as desired to provide the highest quality video
compression for PVR and personal video editing functions;
- FULLSTREAM - Uses pixel shaders, based on innovative technology in
RADEON 9000 PRO, to remove blocky artifacts from streaming video and
provides sharper image quality and greater scalability; and,
- RADEON 9000 PRO (video processor unit) and 64 MB DDR memory
- Security/monitoring camera functionality (using attached separate
camera);
- Stereo TV-tuner with 125 channels; and,
- A three-year limited warranty.
It supports Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows Me, and Windows 98/98 SE (Windows Me driver can be installed on Windows 98/98SE).
