Formac Unveils 20.1 TFT Display

Berkeley, CA - Formac Electronic Inc., has launched its Oxygen line, saying the aggressively priced line of flat panel displays corresponds with a standardized warranty and pixel policy. Formac LCDs are compatible with PCs and Apple Macintosh.
Formac offers both its 17.4-inch and 20.1-inch LCDs as Oxygen and Platinum
line. Both lines feature Formac’s digital graphics technology and
ColorProof VA technology, delivering industry-best marks for brightness,
viewing angle, contrast ratio and pixel response.
The hand-selected Platinum line offers a three-year warranty and allows a maximum of two dead pixels, the lowest pixel anomaly in the industry, the manufacturer reports. Oxygen products feature a warranty of one year.
The Oxygen LCD line is scheduled for delivery mid April 2003. The regular price of the 20.1 TFT is $1,149, and $599 for the 17.4 TFT. Formac offers a direct cash discount for pre-orders until April 15th 2003. Pre-order prices after the discount are $999 for the 20.1 and $499 for the 17.4. This promotion is only available directly through Formac. Quantities available for pre-order are limited.
Formac’s Platinum line of flat panel displays is available immediately; Gallery 2010 sells for $1,399, and $699 for the Gallery 1740.
