Hannover, Germany - Ahead Software has introduced its forthcoming Nero product suite that wraps up all video, audio, backup and recording tasks into the ultimate digital software suite.
Aimed primarily at DVDRW, combo drive, desktop PC, notebook PC and video card OEM's, the suite will feature a complete solution:
- Nero Burning ROM and/or Nero Express - for everything connected to the CD/DVD recording/burning process.
- NeroVision Express 2.0 - the complete solution for advanced DVD/VCD/SVCD capturing, editing, authoring and burning.
- Nero ShowTime - universal software DVD movie player with cinema sound and outstanding picture quality
- Nero BackItUp - full, incremental, differential, and HD backup with disc spanning, one-click restore and scheduler
- InCD 4.0 - for drive letter, CD/DVD ReWritable drag and drop Mt. Rainier/legacy mode packet writing.
Linking the Nero applications together will be Nero SmartStart, an intelligent task and application launcher that goes further than any other toolbar seen before. Fully customisable and featuring standard/advanced modes, Nero SmartStart lets you access any Nero application and guides you to success in a single click.
The Nero one-stop DVDRW OEM suite will be available for licensing during Q2, 2003.
