February 27, 2003
Mount Marion, NY - Laird Telemedia will launch its new LTM-6000 Media Converter at NAB 2003.
The LTM-6000 feature list includes built-in RS-422 machine control via a 9-pin Dsub connection, dual signal analog outputs in all formats, external genlock, blackburst signal output, and a selectable setup (0 IRE or 7.5 IRE), the manufacture describes.
The LTM-6000's feature set also includes the same functionality found in
Laird's LTM-5000 systems, including full component, Y/C, and composite video
conversion, as well as balanced audio using broadcast-quality XLR
connectors, built-in VU audio metering, and a bi-directional full-time
serial digital interface (SDI).
The LTM-6000 is compatible with Windows 2000 and most camcorders. The
system is housed in a 2-RU, 19-inch, rack-mount cabinet and is protected by
Laird's "in-field" service technology, which implements a modular design to
allow all servicing to be performed in the field.
Laird Telemedia products, including the LTM-6000 Media Converter being
launched at NAB2003, are available from a worldwide network of professional
distributors.
