Sonic Foundry Shipping Vegas 4 and Vegas+DVD

Madison, WI - Sonic Foundry is now shipping Vegas 4.0 and Vegas+DVD, two new professional video and audio production packages for the Windows platform. Following the beta version pre-release period, the upgrade is available at a discounted price for version 3.0 owners.
Vegas 4.0 provides integrated real-time video and audio non-linear editing with comprehensive features for mixing, compositing, color correction, titling, streaming media creation and surround sound production, the manufacturer describes. Vegas+DVD not only includes Vegas 4.0, but also offers complete DVD authoring (featuring DVD Architect) and a Dolby Laboratories certified multichannel AC-3 encoder.

Vegas 4.0 and Vegas+DVD also will be available from software dealers and distributors worldwide. For a limited time, registered users of Vegas 3.0 can upgrade direct from Sonic Foundry for $149, or $299 to upgrade to Vegas+DVD. After March 15, upgrade pricing returns to $199 and $399 respectively.
