Sarasota, FL - When The Royal Wedding was televised in 1981, professional video for nuptials was only just beginning, still considered a luxury reserved mainly for celebrities, and lifestyles of the rich and famous. Today LIVE-streaming of weddings is what’s "new" to many. But all that may change dramatically on April 29, when the wedding of Britain’s Prince William and Catherine Middleton is streamed LIVE online. The total viewership overall is now estimated at up to 2 billion worldwide.
WEVA will be streaming coverage of The Royal Wedding LIVE on the WEVA website. Wedding Day Schedule
On the Wedding Day, coverage will be streaming LIVE on WEVA.com about two hours before the ceremony capturing the scene outside Buckingham Palace and crowds gathering along the route. The couple will travel separately to Westminster Abbey by car. The ceremony service is officially set to begin at the following times around the globe:
3 a.m. in Los Angeles
6 a.m. in New York
10 a.m. GMT
11 a.m. in London
12 noon in Paris
2 p.m. in Abu Dhabi, UAE
6 p.m. in Hong Kong
8 p.m. in Sydney
The wedding ceremony is expected to last about one hour, after which the newlyweds will return to Buckingham Palace and emerge onto the balcony with the Queen. WEVA’s LIVE-stream coverage will end a few minutes after the Royal Family leaves the balcony.
