Demand for Live-Streaming of Funerals Increasing Rapidly

Sarasota, FL - Further evidence of more people moving more and more online comes from new stats in a New York Times article reporting on a rapidly increasing demand for live-streaming of funeral services.
The NYT feature notes that FuneralOne, a company in St. Clair, MI which offers software for producing funerals and tributes, has seen the number of funeral homes offering live-streaming climb from 126 in 2008 to 1,053 in 2010 – an increase of more than 700 percent.
The article also mentions that Event by Wire, a competitor in Half Moon Bay, CA has in the same time period, reportedly seen the number of funeral homes webcasting funerals go from 80 to 300 – a 275 percent increase. To read the full story click here.
