JVC & Armato's Pro Video Inducted Into WEVA Vendor Hall of Fame

Sarasota, FL - Wedding & Event Videographers Association International (WEVA), which held its 20th Annual Wedding & Event Video Expo August 23-26 in Orlando, FL, introduced the WEVA Vendor Hall of Fame to attendees and exhibitors worldwide at the opening of this year’s international convention and trade show. "Two pro video industry suppliers were honored with the Association's first Platinum Award presented by WEVA in recognition of 20 consecutive years of exhibitor participation and support for the annual WEVA EXPO Trade Show," said Roy Chapman, WEVA Chairman.
Inducted into the WEVA International Vendor Hall of Fame was JVC Professional Products (Wayne, NJ) which, since the summer of 1991, has exhibited in all 20 EXPO Trade Shows. Accepting the Platinum Award on behalf of JVC were Dave Walton, Assistant Vice President, Ronnie Heard, district sales manager, and Dwayne Kersey, field sales engineer.
Armato’s Pro Video (Glendale, NY) was also inducted into the WEVA International Vendor Hall of Fame in recognition of their 20 consecutive years of unwavering support and participation for the EXPO Trade Show, which has been held in cities across America. Receiving the Platinum Award on behalf of Armato’s Pro Video were Paul Armato, Denise Cerruli, and Dennis Hopkins, General Manager.
Inducting the first honorees into the Vendor Hall of Fame, Kathy Ritondo, Chairperson of the WEVA 20th-Year Committee and a WEVA Wedding & Event Videography Hall of Fame inductee said, “Reaching this 20-year milestone EXPO could not have happened without the help of our vendor sponsors. Remarkable progress has been made in this industry on our mutual journeys and it is with great pleasure that we thank JVC for 20 years of support, and welcome them into the WEVA International Vendor Hall of Fame. They are an important part of our history.”

Al Ritondo, Chairperson of the WEVA Tools & Technologies Committee and a WEVA Wedding & Event Videography Hall of Fame inductee said that, “Studying the state of the art of the wedding and event video industry, it is important to note that the support from JVC and Armato’s has remained constant. You will notice several JVC pieces are displayed in the WEVA Tools & Technologies Exhibit at WEVA EXPO 2010 and Armato’s Pro Video has contributed many of the pieces that were included in the collection. Their induction into the WEVA International Vendor Hall of Fame and receiving The Platinum Award is well-deserved.”
The historic induction of JVC and Armato’s, into the WEVA International Vendor Hall of Fame took place during the Opening Night Awards Gala at the 20th Annual WEVA EXPO 2010, held at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel in Orlando, FL.
