Atlanta, Georgia Launches New Local Videographers Association

Sarasota, FL - WEVA International is excited to announce that the first meeting of the new Georgia Professional Videographers Association
GeorgiaPVA will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2009. The meeting will take place at The Centre at The Arbor Connection in Douglasville, a 20 minute ride from downtown Atlanta.
Bess and Joe Orenzow of Orenzow Video Productions have talked to other professional videographers in Georgia and they had all expressed a desire to start an active and involved local professional videographers association. Now, the Orenzows are spearheading that effort and are excited to begin an Association in Georgia. Professional wedding & event videographers in Georgia will now be able to meet on a monthly basis and help to improve their business as well as strengthen the industry as a whole. “We wanted to expand on the wonderful experiences we have enjoyed at the many WEVA EXPOs and make them available on a local level to fellow videographers in the Georgia region and now we can help make that happen,” states Orenzow.
“Local videographer associations provide an excellent source for professionals in our industry to meet, network, improve their skills and keep abreast of updates on equipment and software that are changing on a daily basis,” states Roy Chapman, Chairman of WEVA International. He adds, “We are pleased to support the new GPVA and provide Bess & Joe with anything they need and look forward to representing WEVA at their inaugural meeting.”
John Zale, WEVA Director of Educational Development agrees,“Joe and Bess called Dan Argenas and myself to ask if we could provide some exciting and timely sessions for the inaugural meeting and we were glad to help put those together.” Plan now to come out, relax, have a beverage and meet your fellow professional videographers in this initial meeting.
