'Call For WEVA EXPO 2009 Speaker Proposals' - Deadline March 27

Sarasota, FL - WEVA International has announced the "Call for Speaker Proposals" for WEVA EXPO 2009 (September 14-17). The deadline for topic submissions, as previously announced, is March 27 - go to weva.com/proposals now.
For the past 18 years, Wedding & Event Video Expo has brought our industry's top teaching talent together for an information-packed convention and trade show that's on the cutting-edge of new trends, techniques, and technologies. This year will be no exception.
The "2009 Call for Proposals" invites seminar and workshop proposals for this year’s EXPO, which will be held at the brand new Hilton Orlando in Orlando, FL.
The WEVA online proposal form makes the speaker submission process quick and easy. Go to weva.com/proposals and create your own personal log-in account. Once you are logged-in, just follow the prompts to submit your proposed topic(s). If you are interested in submitting more than one proposal, a separate unique user name must be created.
If you are concerned you won't be able to fill out the proposal in one session it’s not a problem. The speaker proposal form automatically saves your text until you are ready to submit your proposal in final form. Whenever you log-in you will automatically be placed at the point where you left off.
Topic proposals relating to all aspects of the business and production of professional wedding and event videography and photography are invited, including: camerawork, editing, marketing, selling, business administration, HD topics, production techniques and creativity, business add-ons, graphics/titles, software-specific workshops, audio techniques, special event production/marketing, Corporate video, DVD authoring (production, packaging, etc.), lighting, Internet marketing, video-on the-Web, 'Camera Clinic' topics, etc.
It’s important to establish your new log-in account now at weva.com/proposals and submit your proposal(s) quickly as EXPO programming decisions are already underway. The deadline for proposals is March 27th, 2009.
“Over 70 cutting-edge technical and creativity Seminars, ‘System Clinics,’ New Equipment Demonstrations, product-specific Editing Workshops (Avid, Apple, Adobe, Canopus, Vegas, etc.), ‘Battle Of The Videographers’, WEVA Live, new Web video developments, plus new Production Technique Workshops, Wedding Video Marketing Strategies and top Business Sales Boosters will be presented at Wedding & Event Video Expo 2009,” said WEVA International’s Director of Educational Development John Zale.
Optional, Pre-Convention Workshops featuring extended product-specific training, and more, will be presented Monday afternoon before EXPO officially opens at 5:30 pm. WEVA EXPO 2009 conference sessions will conclude by the 4:00 pm close of EXPO on Thursday, September 17, 2009.
