Save on End-of-Year Equipment Purchases Thru New ILA Program

Sarasota, FL - Want to send less money to the IRS and get the cutting-edge video gear you need to grow your business? Independent Leasing Associates (ILA), a WEVA strategic partner, says you can do it - and with very little out-of-pocket expense before the year ends.
ILA has been working with a number of lenders to develop a new, cost-effective program to enable WEVA members to get the video equipment they need now, and reap tax benefits for their businesses for 2007, reports ILA president Bob Bell.
"Under IRS Section 179, businesses can acquire equipment and deduct the total amount (up to $125,000) from their 2007 taxes. The program can be structured so that WEVA members won’t have to start making regular payments until 2008," Bell said. "This means you don’t have to come up with the cash to get the entire benefit. You may already have your refund check before the first regular payment is due."

Bell also noted another key advantage for WEVA members. "Unlike acquiring equipment using credit cards or bank loans, the finance amounts provided by these programs won’t appear on your credit report so it won’t adversely affect your credit score." Bell adds that since ILA is a WEVA Strategic Partner, WEVA members also get a 2% rebate of the equipment cost.
“This end-of-year Finance Program was developed exclusively for WEVA members and allows you to get the best new gear for your individual business, defer payment while you learn the systems, and write off the entire amount on your 2007 taxes," states Dan Argenas WEVA's Director of Association Communications. This special ILA program promotion, he adds, will be effective through December 30, 2007.
"This new plan has been designed for WEVA exclusively for their members, and we at ILA think it's an excellent concept that we will definitely consider at the final quarter of every year,” said Bell. “You see other industries in the world taking advantage of ‘purchase tax savings’ that help bring their expenses in line to take advantage of extra purchasing power when they need it and WEVA wanted the same advantage for its members," he added.
