WEVA's 'Power of Video' Comes to Salt Lake City July 11
July 03, 2007

Sarasota, FL - "The Power of Video & How to Get More Business Using It" a new marketing program for videographers and wedding professionals developed by the Public Relations Committee of Wedding & Event Videographers Association International (WEVA), will be the featured presentation at the Utah Professional Videographers Association (UPVA) on July 11th.

The meeting starts at 7:00 pm at The Old Meeting House 4120 S. Highland Drive in Salt Lake. The program’s featured speaker will be Kris Malandruccolo, Chairperson of the WEVA Public Relations Committee, a WEVA EXPO presenter, and owner of Elegant Videos by Kris (IL). Visit the UPVA website for further details and directions.

Spotlighting exciting clips from WEVA Creative Excellence Award-winning wedding videography, "The Power of Video" is designed to bring industry affiliates up to speed on state-of-the-art wedding video creativity. The presentation will also reveal how vendors within the bridal industry can use video to promote their own businesses, and how professional videographers can tap into this emerging source of income.

In the past year, members of the WEVA Public Relations Committee have been “on the road” presenting the "Power of Video" to numerous organizations nationally and also internationally. The WEVA PR Committee, which also includes Al Ritondo, Personal Touch Video (NJ); Natalie Neal, Glass Slipper Productions (PA); and Mike Nelson, Remember When Video Productions (UT), has spent the better part of two years developing outreach programs that either directly benefit the WEVA membership, or are meant to promote the wedding and event industry to the wedding industry at large.

Look for the WEVA “Power of Video” presentations to continue through 2007. If your local organization is interested in seeing this inspiring program, contact Kris Malandruccolo at [email protected] or Dan Argenas WEVA Director of Association Communications at [email protected].
