'Call For Proposals' for Wedding & Event Video Expo 2007 Announced

Sarasota, FL - With the announcement of August 13-16, 2007 as the official dates for the WEVA 17th Annual Wedding & Event Video Expo, the association has also announced the "2007 Call for Proposals" to invite seminar and workshop proposals for WEVA EXPO 2007, which will be held at Bally’s/Paris Las Vegas.

Go to www.weva.com/proposals and create your own personal log-in account. Once you are logged-in, just follow the prompts to submit your proposed topic(s) for Wedding & Event Video Expo 2007.

Topic proposals relating to all aspects of the business and production of professional wedding and event videography are invited, including: camerawork, editing, marketing, selling, business administration, HD topics, production techniques and creativity, business add-ons, graphics/titles, software-specific workshops, audio techniques, special event production/marketing, Corporate video, DVD authoring (production, packaging, etc.), lighting, Internet marketing, video-on the-Web, 'Camera Clinic' topics, etc.

WEVA EXPO 2007 will officially kick off Monday night August 13, 2007 with a special (and complimentary) grand-opening dinner reception at “An Evening in Paris” in the glittering ballroom of world-famous Paris Las Vegas where the winning videos in WEVA’s upcoming 17th Annual Creative Excellence Awards Competition will be announced and screened. The spectacular roof-top pool of Paris Las Vegas, next to the glowing Eiffel Tower replica overlooking the dazzling lights of the Las Vegas Strip will be the setting for WEVA’s industry-wide networking party on Tuesday night August 14, 2007.
WEVA EXPO 2007 conference sessions, and state-of-the-art technology exhibits slated for the two-day WEVA EXPO Trade Show (August 14-15), will be headquartered at Bally’s Las Vegas, which directly adjoins Paris.
“Over 70 cutting-edge technical and creativity Seminars, ‘Camera Clinics,’ New Equipment Demonstrations, product-specific Editing Workshops (Avid, Apple, Adobe, Canopus, Vegas, etc.), ‘Battle Of The Videographers’ new Web video developments, plus new Production Technique Workshops, Wedding Video Marketing Strategies and top Business Sales Boosters will be presented,” said WEVA International’s Director of Educational Development John Zale.
Optional, Pre-Convention Workshops featuring extended product-specific training, and more, will be presented Monday afternoon before EXPO officially opens at 5:30 pm. WEVA EXPO 2007 conference sessions will conclude by the 5:00 pm close of EXPO on Thursday August 16, 2007.
