NEWS MINUTE: TEAC Displays New Disc Printers at WEVA EXPO 2006

Las Vegas, NV - TEAC’s new P55 Dye-Sublimation Photo-Quality Disc Printer, optimized to produce vibrant colors with increased clarity and sharpness, was on display for videographers at TEAC’s WEVA EXPO 2006 exhibit.

Brown says TEAC's P55 Thermal Printing Technology with its full 4-color, 400 DPI print resolution takes traditional screen printing to the next level and replaces it with unsurpassed quality never before seen on a thermal printer.
The P55 is designed to publish CDs, DVDs, CD Business Cards, and Mini Discs. The unit will print 500 color images per ribbon and 2,000 B/W images per ribbon.
TEAC’s new Auto-Publisher for CDs and DVDs was also on display. The Auto-Publisher makes it easy and quick to automatically copy up to 220 discs. It is controller-based with an LCD display. TEAC's Advanced Robotic Mechanism is used to transport discs from the input bins to the integrated TEAC Printer and then to the output bins. Auto-Publisher is a fully-automated 2-DVD Drive Publishing System.
