Panasonic Offers Downloadable Guide on HVX200

Secaucus, NJ - Panasonic has a comprehensive guidebook on the AG-HVX200 camcorder, available as a free download. The 68-page pdf booklet includes detailed information on the HD multiformat system, variable frame rates and P2 recording.
The guidebook discusses 720 progressive scan, 24p HD, cine-like gamma curve, 4:2:2 sampling and audio recording differences.
In the section on Variable Frame Rate, the booklet explains over- and undercranking, slow-motion and fast-motion effects and camcorder special effects.
In the Applications and Workflows section, the guidebook discusses event videography with the HVX200, high-end production of movies and commercials, independent film production and DV-based and file-based image production workflows.
The booklet concludes with a section on terminology and specifications.
