TLCs Wild Weddings Seeks Submissions
May 19, 2006
Bryn Mawr, PA - Steve Rotfeld Productions, Inc, announced that it has taken over the production of TLC’s Wild Weddings, a series of one hour shows featuring funny and unique wedding clips. SRP is scheduled to produce ten hours by the end of August.
The program focuses on ceremony bloopers and mishaps, wild reception moments, cake smushes, garters and bouquet tosses, kids being…kids, crazy dancing, and any other unique occurrences: fire alarms going off, people fainting, extreme weather, unusual theme weddings, funny toasts, and bizarre games. The basic test of whether a clip is “right” for Wild Weddings is whether it amuses or makes the audience say “wow.”
Steve Rotfeld Productions is casting its net far and wide in the search for great clips. Any videographer who supplies a clip that makes the air receives a license fee. Some videographers have provided them with as many as fifty clips. However, quality is more important than quantit". That one “classic” clip is more useful than ten mediocre ones.
Steve Rotfeld Productions (www.rotfeldproductions.com) is a television production and broadcast syndication company. Since its inception in 1985, it’s programs have appeared in national broadcast syndication on TLC, ESPN, ESPN Classic, Animal Planet and the Travel Channel. SRP currently produces six series for cable and/or broadcast television.
