Mitsubishi XD430U and SD430U Projectors Help You Get Away Fast; Fast-Cooling Portable, High-Brightness Projectors for Business and Education Debut
Combining high brightness with new features for maximum portability and peace of mind, the projectors allow users to finish their presentations and leave the room promptly without having to wait for their projector to cool off.
Mitsubishi's new XD430U ($1,795) and SD430U ($1,495) each boast 2500 ANSI lumens, high brightness that is perfect for most lighting situations, including windowed boardrooms and brightly lit classrooms. For ceiling, tabletop or cart-mounted installations, the projectors can be securely attached by a new antitheft ring to thwart potential thefts in high-risk environments.
The XD430U has XGA resolution (1024 x 768 pixels) and SD430U has SVGA resolution (800 x 600 pixels). Both new projectors offer two PC inputs and a monitor loop through, providing display flexibility, and are RS232c-controllable for easy integration in environments using third-party control systems.
"We have designed these two new projectors with features that are essential to business and education professionals," said Frank Anzures, product manager for Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America's Presentation Product Division. "The combination of brightness and valuable features at an affordable price makes these projectors perfect for any cost-conscious customer."
Each projector uses Texas Instruments Digital Light Processing(TM) technology for exceptional image quality and their advanced filter-free construction makes them resistant to dust, dirt and other particles for maintenance-free operation and image clarity.
"We strive to provide a value product without compromising quality and performance," said James Chan, director, product marketing, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America's Presentation Product Division. "We continue to offer options for every application and every budget."
Get Multiple Highs with the New Mitsubishi WD2000U High-Definition, Widescreen Projector; Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America Continues Its Widescreen Revolution
Mitsubishi Digital Electronics continues its commitment to wide-format professional projectors with the release of its WD2000U ($3,995). This high-brightness, high-definition projector matches widescreen formats used in today's latest computer and video applications, and is designed for boardrooms, classrooms, church sanctuaries and those users upgrading to high-resolution displays.
"The presentation landscape is shifting to a widescreen format," said Frank Anzures, manager of projector product marketing for Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America's Presentation Products Division. "The WD2000U makes the most of the new software and operating systems available today."
Mitsubishi's WD2000U is a native WXGA (1280 x 768) resolution, high-definition projector and utilizes Texas Instruments Digital Light Processing(TM) TrueVision(TM) DDP3020 image processing chip set. It allows for true 10-bit image processing for incredible detail across a wide screen. Blasting 3000 ANSI lumens, the WD2000U provides plenty of brightness for auditoriums and large conference rooms. Powered vertical and horizontal lens shift capabilities and an array of optional lenses, the WD2000U is perfect for sophisticated integration projects for business, education -- even home theater applications.
The WD2000U's advanced filter-free design simplifies installation and makes the projector maintenance-free. A long-life lamp is rated for up to 5000 hours in low-lamp mode, for low overall cost of ownership not only at the time of purchase, but throughout the projector's life as well.
Mitsubishi adds its proprietary Color Enhancer(TM) technology to the WD2000U, which allows users to customize their color and display experience with the touch of a button. The distinctive visual modes (auto, presentation, standard, theater and sRGB) intelligently produce truer colors and vivid images for a desired look. The projector also boasts Texas Instruments BrilliantColor(TM) technology, which uses color-processing algorithms and system-level enhancements for greater brightness and truer, more vibrant colors.
"Mitsubishi is committed to bringing widescreen projectors to our systems integrators that enable them to offer affordable solutions to upgrade or future-proof their customers' systems for installing projectors," said James Chan, director, product marketing, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America's Presentation Products Division. "The WD2000U is our best in a line of new widescreen products."
