WEVA NEWS MINUTE: Webcasting a Wedding Record-Setter
February 23, 2006
Sacramento, CA - The World Record Wedding Video Event in Sacramento last week organized by the Sacramento Professional Videographers Association (SPVA), and co-sponsored by WEVA International, featured a live, multi-cam Webcast of the wedding ceremony.
Produced by Alan Fitch and Bob Clark of Pacific Clearstream Media Group (PCMG), the Webcast even included the use of robotic cameras set up on the altar area.
WEVA NEWS MINUTE video producer Bruce Himmelblau captured PCMG's portable Webcast studio in action and talked to Fitch about how the Webcast of the record-setting event was organized and conducted, including the many challenges involved.
To watch this segment, streamed from the WEVA-TV (members-only) section of the WEVA website: Click Here! Use your member ID to enter and go to WEVA-TV.
The portable Webcast studio was stationed outside the ceremony hall in Sacramento's Library Galleria allowing videographers to observe the entire system in operation while the wedding was in progress and afterwards.
