Red Giant Software Releases Key Correct Pro

San Francisco, CA - Red Giant Software, the publisher of a line of professional desktop tools including Magic Bullet technology, announced the availability of Key Correct Pro ($395), a set of 15 tools to help motion graphic and visual effects artists achieve more realistic composites. Digital Neural Axis used Primatte Keyer and Key Correct Pro to create more than 68 VFX shots on Martin Scorsese’s film The Aviator nominated for 11 Academy Awards in 2004.
Key Correct Pro is a set of 15 plug-ins designed to help AE users create better composites with built-in keying tools. The plug-ins are designed to be in used in combination with any keyer to better enhance the final result.
Features the company reports include:
- Accurate matte feather tools
- Color Matching plug-in with automatic matching and color balance adjustment
- Alpha cleaner plug-in for fixing noise and filing holes in mattes in one pass
- Complete support for 8 and 16 bit operations for all plug-ins
“We are proud to release a new compositing suite of tools with full 16-bit support and other fine tuning features for compositors. Used in cooperation with Primatte Keyer 3, users can output great looking composites. Key Correct Pro will also serve users working with After Effects’ built-in keying tools to generate superior results,” said Sean Safreed, Partner at Red Giant Software.
