K-Tek Announces Avalon Graphite Fishpole

Vista, CA - M. Klemme Technology introduced Avalon Graphite boom poles. Ideal for ENG, EFP and DV production, the new Avalons offer many benefits of the top line K-Tek Klassik series in an affordable package.
Avalon Graphite Boom Pole prices start at $325.00. The poles are constructed from high-quality graphite tubing selected for extreme durability and light weight. Five telescoping sections lock together via a unique captive collett for maximum holding power with minimum torque. Each unit is fitted with K-Tek's proprietary pole-top equipped with cable retaining slots and a replaceable stainless steel threaded mounting stud.
The K-Tek Avalon Graphite is available in four sizes. The shortest has a telescoping range of 19.3 inches (49cm) to 5 feet (152.4cm. The longest expands from a minimum length of 36.8 inches (93.5cm) to a maximum reach of 12 feet (381cm). Each is available with an internally wired coiled cord, a Neutrik female XLR on the top pigtail and a Switchcraft male XLR in the base. The two longest poles may also be ordered with a right angle XLR base.
