Blu-ray vs. HD DVD Format Wars Heat Up

Tokyo, JP - Hi-Def format wars are heating up this week with news releases by Panasonic and Toshiba.
Panasonic parent, Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., announced yesterday that March is the target month to ship Blu-ray DVD drives for PC computers.

Also yesterday, Toshiba, maker of HD DVD format drives announced that 35 movie titles would be released in the HD DVD format including "The Aviator," movies from 10 Japanese studios plus South Korean films.
