Canopus Announces ACEDVio with EDIUS Pro 3.0 Combo Offer

San Jose, CA - Canopus, in partnership with B&H Photo-Video and The Video Guys, has announced a new software bundle combining their powerful EDIUS Pro 3.0 and the flexible ACEDVio hardware.
Canopus says the combining of EDIUS Pro 3.0 software with the OHCI capabilities of ACEDVio is designed to create an affordable solution for both DV and HDV editing.
With S-video and composite inputs and outputs, the ACEDVio/EDIUS Pro 3.0 bundle ($599-combo offer) allows users to deliver SD analog formats.
Additionally, for videographers who primarily edit DV footage, Canopus says the EDIUS Pro 3.0 software can utilize a computer's CPU power to deliver real time performance. Even HDV on a fast dual Xeon solution will be able to use Canopus CODEC technology to provide unmatched performance for editing HDV, the company said.
