Campbell, CA - Octave Systems announced Data Safe Copy Master II 8 duplicator now comes with a removable 160GB hard disk drive. The prices range from $999 for a 4-drive unit, to $1479 for an 8-drive system. Additional removable hard disk drives are $175 for a 160GB and $250 for a 250GB.
According to Octave, the Copy Master II offers these new advanced features:

Removable Hard Disk Drive
The Data Safe Copy Master II features a removable Hard Disk Drive. The hard disk drive can be removed and locked in a safe. Perfect for protecting sensitive data.
Hard Disk Drive Partition Naming
You can now name the images stored in the hard drive partitions.
User Accounts
Password protected accounts will authorize specific users to operate or keep out unauthorized users.
128MB Buffer Memory
A larger 128MB buffer memory
Auto-Counter Technology
The counter keeps a record of the total number of discs copied for each project.
Load And Copy
For a quick copy job load up your master and blanks then press the new copy button.

Copy – load in your master disc and your blank disc(s) then press this new button to start copying.
Reset – reset the system with this button.
Speed – adjust the speed quickly and easily with this button.
Source – change the source for the master
Copy Master Features
Dual Layered / Dual Format
The Copy Master II keeps you current with DVD technology. Using DVD9 you can store up to 8.5 GBs of data on one DVD using dual-layered discs. Single layered DVDs can also be burned at speeds up to 16X.

The Data Safe Copy Master II records CDs too at 48X.
Many Media Choices
Copy Master II duplicates not only standard 120mm CDs and DVDs, but also several of the popular business-card shaped discs and mini CD/DVD formats.
