Sony HDV Camcorder Demonstrated at WEVA EXPO 2005

Las Vegas, NV - Sony demonstrated their HVR-Z1U HDV camcorder on the trade show floor of WEVA 15th Annual Wedding & Event Video Expo and at the Sony HDV Theater, a special on-site projection of HDV wedding footage shot with the Z1U.
For their HDV Theater presentations, Sony brought WEVA International member John Farischon to the stage to screen and discuss his wedding footage shot using the Sony Z1U HDV camcorder. Farischon answered questions from WEVA EXPO 2005 attendees and gave tips on using the new camcorder for weddings and events.
Farischon said he was able to push the camcorder to +18dB to capture reception dance footage. He showed samples and noted that he had not processed any of the footage prior to screening it.
At the WEVA EXPO 2005 Trade Show, several exhibitors offered the Z1U at EXPO-special discounts at their exhibit booths.
