ARC Science notes a spherical computer display to convey concepts and information of a global scope has long been desired by exhibitors. By combining an elegantly simple optical invention with clever software, ARC has achieved their goal with OmniGlobe.
The spherical display (available with 60-inch or 80-inch diameter vinyl-coated acrylic screens) is based upon a reflective image dispersing element—a convex mirror on which a single high performance projector is directed (ARC patent).
Except for the small shadow of the mirror at the top (too high for most to see), the entire OmniGlobe screen is illuminated with the sphere-filling image for an eye-grabbing display. In global video projection...that’s cutting-edge! For more information visit ARC Science.
