Burnsville, MN - The new Digital Encryption Wireless Intercom from Telex is a UHF synthesized wireless intercom system with digital audio modulation and encryption for improved audio response, while providing secure communications, the manufacturer reports.
This intercom system is a 1 to 1 configuration. One RKP-4 beltpack to One RKP4B base station and will provide communication directly to RTS Matrix communication systems. The RKP-4 beltpack will interface directly through an RKP-4B base station with Adam, Adam CS and Zeus Digital Matrix intercom systems. The RKP-4 wireless beltpack will operate similar to an MKP-4 Keypanel including scroll control function and a call waiting display and is configured with AZ-EDIT software.
The RKP-4 and RKP-4B features include:
Frequency agile in 18 MHz bands (UHF 470-746 MHz)
1 Beltpack per base in full duplex communications
DSP Digital Audio Processing
Proprietary 32 Bit digital audio encryption process
Enhanced ClearScan auto frequency selection
Intermod free factory selected frequency plans
Relay contact closure
Intelligent Power Control – Beltpacks intelligently reduce power near base station
Graphic user interface at base and beltpack
Cast magnesium RKP-4 beltpack
RKP-4 to operate on either Alkaline or NiMH batteries (6 AA) with 8 - 10 hours of continuous duty operation
RKP-4B Base Station in half rack format
The RKP-4 Beltpack and RKP-4B Base Station are scheduled for availability in Fall 2005.
