Portable Web-Based Video System from VBrick
April 25, 2005
Wallingford, CT - VBrick Systems announced VB6200, a self-contained portable video appliance with an MPEG-4 encoder/decoder that provides video via low- and medium-bandwidth IP networks.
VB6200 can seamlessly support interactive conferencing and webcasting to thousands of viewers globally, the manufacturer describes.
VB6200 broadens VBrick's extensive line of IP network video solutions. Specifically, it adds MPEG-4 multicasting communications for the EtherneTV Media Distribution System, VBrick's complete system for providing live and on-demand video to computers across the network. EtherneTV enables organizations to capture, deliver, store and manage DVD-quality video distribution across networked environments and the Internet.
VB6200, now available, is Internet Streaming Media Alliance (ISMA) compliant, ensuring vendor interoperability with many popular software and hardware decoders. VB6200 is available in the new, full duplex configuration for interactive video communications and in encoder-only and decoder-only models.
