Magix Announces mp3 Production Tool

San Diego, CA - Magix has added mp3 SURROUND to its line of audio and video editing tools.
Designed for creating multi-channel, surround-audio mixes, the product offers compatibility to any existing mp3 software and hardware device, the company reports. It supports bit rates comparable to those currently used to encode stereo mp3 material, for files some half the size of common compressed surround formats, and enables 5.1 channel surround-quality sound for web-based music distribution, broadcasting systems, PC-related audio/visual or other electronic applications.
The company's Movie Edit Pro 10 video editing product supports all formats of video, including HD and 16 x 9 video, the company specifies, along with CD & DVD authoring and burning.
