VFGadgets Shrinks Wireless Audio Gear
April 07, 2005
Toronto, ON - VFGadgets has introduced the QT-256WP, calling it "the world's smallest waterproof wireless belt-pack transmitter."
This proprietary micro transmitter technology is small (2.2" x 1.33" x 0.53") enough to be worn or hidden almost anywhere. The frequency agile QT-256WP transmitter has companding, pre-emphasis and provides high-quality broadcast audio.
The QT-256WP works with the optional DPA mini microphone and the optional two-antenna diversity receiver, and features the latest Lithium batteries that last up to 12 hours with a power output ranging from 50-250mW, the manufacturer reports. It is frequency selectable from 665-765MHz in four individual blocks, and is made of solid industrial grade aluminum for providing extreme durability and reliability.
VFGadgets has also introduced the Yagi Antenna Systems from Quantum5X, a directional beam antenna providing enhanced signal pick-up for diversity wireless systems.
Specifically designed to work with the Q5X diversity wireless systems, the QTY Yagi antennas operate in ranges from 665.000MHz to 765.000MHz. The QTY Yagi antenna features a six-element design providing 15dBi of gain and excellent rejection to interference. The antennas are constructed of industrial grade aluminum and come complete with a stainless steel mounting system, which provides for any type of installation or mounting.
