DataVideo CG Supports SDI Live Switching

Whittier, CA - DataVideo's recently-released CG-100 character generator is compatible with the company's SE-800 switcher, or any other switcher that accepts an SDI input, the manufacturer announced.
The CG-100 will work with a switcher that accepts an SDI video and key signal. Based on a Blackmagic Decklink card in a PC, the Datavideo CG-100 connects to the SDI Overlay/Graphics input on the SE-800 or any video switcher that accepts SDI keyed graphics input.
The CG-100 can hold hundreds of pages, limited only by the computer's processor speed and RAM speed and size. Text positioning may be done by mouse/eye or by X/Y pixel designation.
Other product features:
Import image objects as graphics for use and storage as part of the page.
Simple shapes (ellipses and rectangles) can be used as menu items and may be added to the page.
Animation objects can Wipe, Push and Fade
Text can Roll and Crawl
Fonts are Adobe TrueType
The package includes: CG-100 PC software and cables only. For registered SE-800 users with SE-800 s/n software with card is $1149; software without card is $849. For other users, prices are $1299 for software with card; $999 for software without card.
