Directors NoteBook Releases V2 and Stand Alone Apps

Las Vegas, NV - Directors NoteBook software today announced the release of Directors NoteBook 2 Pro, Directors NoteBook 2 SA, Directors NotePad 2 and Directors Boards 2.
Directors NoteBook is designed specifically for TV directors/cameramen, but many directors, producers and other key crew of longer format projects as well as commercial productions are using it as well.
The application functions as a digital "project notebook ,” organizing all the information a director or other production crew members need access to during preproduction, production, and post-production (Shot Screen interface shown, with shot number, storyboard image, scene title, talent, talent direction, camera frame rates, lens, crane or dolly, location/set, special requirements, etc.).
The software stores storyboard images, location and set photos, all shot-specific details like; action, camera directions, lenses and frame rates, screen time, blocking, script, casting specs, EFX plate images, etc. as well as client contact information and more.
With one mouse click directors can print over 20 different customizable printouts and reports from shooting boards to shot lists. One mouse click and directors can present an on-screen "slide show" of the boards much like those created in programs like PowerPoint and Keynote (great for preproduction meetings).
Directors NoteBook 2 SA , Directors NotePad 2 and Directors Boards will run on Apple Macintosh OSX and Windows 2000, and XP environments.
Directors Notebook 2 Pro will run on Apple Macintosh OSX and Windows 2000, and XP environments. FileMaker Pro 7.0 or greater (not included) is needed.
The Pro and SA V2 packages have these new features:
1. Now NoteBook files can be up to 2 GB in size.
2. We have added a new file storage section:Store for archiving purposes. Copies of up to 20 digital files of any format, including: Final Draft documents, Call sheets, budgets and bids, Word files, and any multimedia file format can be archived.
3. Optimized Application File for Speed.
4. Export shot list to iPod . Simply add the exported file to the iPod 's "Notes" directory.
5. Added pulldown menus for field labels for Job Info on the setup screen. Choose from: Agency, Studio, Network, Client, Production Company, or add your own in any language. This is good for customers in different countries, and or productions others than TV Commercials.
6. Stand-alone versions for both Windows and Mac users. (Previously only available for Pro but now available in SA versions.)
Directors NotePad, an application geared towards iLife and amateur film makers, includes these new features:
1. Stand-alone versions for both Windows and Mac users.
2. Now NotePad files can be up to 2 GB in size.
