Media 100 Unveils 10-But Uncompressed HD & SD Editing

Marlboro, MA - Media 100 HD 10.1 has been released by Media 100.
Version 10.1 includes a new Media 100 software codec and other key enhancements that make the 10-bit-uncompressed Macintosh-based system even
more powerful and unique for projects that use HD, SD, or need real-time mixing of different codecs in the same timeline, the company reports.
Key New Features of Media 100 HD 10.1:
o New Media 100 Software Codec
Adobe After Effects and other third-party packages to render out
QuickTime movies to drop into a Media 100 HD project and begin editing.
o QuickTime V Out Support
hardware to play back any QuickTime movie on an NTSC, PAL or HD monitor
while still working inside After Effects or other related applications.
o HD Playback effects using a draft mode for capturing or viewing HD.
Media 100 HD is available now, with the Version 10.1 software expected to be available this week.
Pricing for complete Media 100 HD system configurations is available from Media 100's channel of resellers and will depend upon SD and HD editing requirements and the amount of high-speed media storage required.
