Topaz Labs Releases Topaz Moment V2.0

Plano, TX - Topaz Moment V2.0, an upgraded version of the video frame capture and enhancement software, is now available from Topaz Labs L.L.C. It captures frames directly from Mini-DV camcorder, DVD, VCD, and SVCD.
A Windows-based program, Topaz Moment captures frames from videos and enhances them resulting in clean and sharp pictures with up to 2.5x resolution increase. The software employs three advanced technologies: (1) super-resolution that creates a higher resolution image from multiple video frames; (2) advance noise reduction that suppresses frame noise with little loss of details; (3) edge enhancement that sharpens the picture without increased noise or overshooting, the manufacturer reports.
Topaz Moment! V2.0 mainly adds improved expediency and compatibility. Major improvements of Topaz Moment V2.0 include:
Better support for video files:
V2.0 can capture any videos that can be played by Microsoft’s Media Player or other DirectX-based players. With properly installed DirectX decoders, Topaz Moment V2.0 can capture frames from video files in .avi, .qt, .mov, .rm, .dat(VCD), .mpg, .asf, and .wmv formats.
DVD and DV support:
capture and enhance frames directly from DVD videos and DV camcorders.
Speed improvement:
