Archos Intros 100 GB Portable Video Recorder/Player

Igny, France - Archos has launched a 100-gigabyte portable video recorder (PVR), the Pocket Video Recorder AV4100.
The AV4100 100-gigabye storage capacity can be used to record and save video, television shows, movies, music, photos and data. The AV4100 delivers advanced multimedia features including recording and scheduling capabilities, full audio recording and playback, photo viewing, and data storage, ideal for commuters, business travellers and family holidays, the company describes.
The AV400 range presents many new features unseen in other PVPs today, including a sleek and small design, TV Cradle, external speaker for enjoying music and video without headphones, best video playback quality, and a built-in Compact Flash reader for transferring photos directly from digital cameras. DVD playback is full DVD resolution up to 704 x 480; recording is standard TV resolution, up to512 x 384 (SVCD).
