Clear-Com Shipping New Beltpacks
February 11, 2005
Emeryville, CA - Clear-Com Communication Systems is shipping its new 600-series beltpacks.
Features such as latch disable/enable, listen-only, call button bright/dim/flash/steady, built-in limiters, noise gates, electret or dynamic microphone compatibility, and supervisor lockout, deliver more control over communications in the production environment, the manufacturer describes. With four programming modes, an optional software programming interface, and RTS-compatibility, one beltpack can be used whether using Clear-Com or RTS party-line interfaces.
The new 600-series replaces the five different previous 500-series beltpack models, along with the addition of two RTS-compatible models. The beltpacks are available in the RS-601, a single channel model, the RS-602, a dual channel model, and the RS-622, a split-ear dual-channel model.
The RS-603 and RS-623 are two-wire dual channel and spit ear models, respectively, which require a special adapter to link two channels to a multi-channel Clear-Com system. The RS-603R and 623R are the same as the RS-603 and RS-623 except they contain the proper pin-outs and functionality to be used with an RTS party-line system.
The 600-series now includes an auxiliary headset jack for use with electret microphones, in addition to a standard dynamic headset XLR jack. Available immediately is the CC-25 ultra-lightweight headset, weighing only an ounce.
Prices start at $238.
