New Pioneer Dual Layer Recorder Available

Long Beach, CA - The DVR-A09XL high speed DVD burner introduced by Pioneer is now available.
The unit enables computer users to record data, photos and video onto DVD-R, DVD-RW, +R and +RW discs. It also works with dual layer discs, increasing the capacity of a disc from 4.7 to 8.5 gigabytes (GB).
The DVR-A09XL offers unique features, the manufacturer describes, including Quiet Drive for minimal operating noise; Liquid Crystal Control for optimum recording quality; Precision Recording to minimize the effects of long term deterioration of re-recordable discs due to repeated writing; and an Ultra Dynamic Resonance Absorber to reduce vibrations during high-speed recording and playback of discs.
Pioneer double-layer drive comes bundled with software by Ulead; the software package provided with the A09XL includes:
DVD MovieFactory 3.5 Disc Creator for burning movies, slideshows, data and music to CD or DVD in an instant.
Video Studio 8.0SE to edit and create professional-looking videos with ease.
Photo Explorer 8.5SE to transfer, browse, modify and distribute photos, music and video.
Burn.Now 1.5 to create data and audio discs plus copy discs.
DVD Player 1.5 offers high compatibility and plays commercial DVDs and DVDs created by other Ulead products.
NovaBACKUP 7.1 for data loss prevention.
